“I have been here three times from the US. Number one...they remember you and they treat you like family when you come back again and again. I honestly say that if I were to show up a year later they would remember who I am. That coupled with what this small town offers in a bakery and butcher along with walking paths is amazing. My only disappointment is that I am an American and I can't move into this town!”

“Wonderful all around! Super friendly staff and hospitality! The beer is fantastic as well as the food! Guest rooms are very clean and comfortable. I love the location and was told they are opening a 300 seat Biergarten in summer! Hope to visit again!”

“The Family Puttner hotel, restaurant, and brewery, cannot be beat for a great stay in a quaint small town setting. Very nice rooms, fantastic meals, and family brewed beer and liqueurs make this a quiet, extremely enjoyable stay. Nice country-side hikes among the pastures and tended forested areas allow you to unwind, unclutter, and relax. Close enough to larger towns for groceries and other great restaurants. And let me add something. I was staying there while on a short term contract in Grafenwoehr. I got injured and ended up with torn ligaments above my knee. Was in a total leg cast for 2 weeks and still worked my contract. The family moved my stuff to a room next to the elevator and put everything in the exact same relative place as it was left in my old room. They brought me meals to my room and even opened otherwise unused doors for my comfort and convenience. The care that family gave me cannot be bought at any price and I am so very appreciative for what they did for me. I cannot say enough. Go there. Stay. Chill. All in a wonderful atmosphere.”

“My wife and I are experienced travelers from the United States and like things to be as advertised. We stayed at the hotel and ate at their restaurant for two nights. They were VERY nice, and the room was so well made that we think they used a tape measure when they put the candies on the table and made the bed. Nothing was out of place and it was comfortable and quite. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Just to note that the restaurant is closed on Monday evenings.”

“The food was amazing. We had a group of 6 and almost everyone got something different. So I tried multiple items, they were all delicious! They have outdoor seating and it’s a brewery as well. The beer was awesome! I will absolutely be going back soon.”
